straps too small for my fingers
I enjoyed building the kit until I got to the straps and ladder supports. I found them so small that they were either broak or did break when I went to cut them off the sheet. I admit I usually build O scale so these small parts are always a problem for me. I ended up using some small elastic thread for the bands. the etched lines helped to line them up. I wrapped the thread with some stretch, tied a square not then glued them in place with scenic cement. the ladder was just glued on the top and bottom and I didn't use the ladder supports. I am about to build two brass water tanks with the small parts so it will be interesting.
